Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Draft Master platform ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Draft Master provides an AI-powered assistant for drafting legal motions. The Service is intended for use by legal professionals as a preliminary drafting tool.

3. Not Legal Advice

Draft Master is NOT a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The use of the Service does not create an attorney-client relationship.

All generated documents must be reviewed, verified, and finalized by a licensed attorney. You are solely responsible for the content and legal accuracy of any documents filed in court.

4. Compliance with California SB 574 & CCP § 128.7

To the extent you use the Service in connection with legal matters within California or appearing before California courts, you agree to comply with all applicable requirements of California Senate Bill 574, including California Business and Professions Code § 6068.1 and California Code of Civil Procedure § 128.7:

• Non-Delegation: You shall not delegate the practice of law or ultimate legal judgment to the Service. The Service is an assistive drafting aid only.
• Mandatory Court Disclosure: You shall maintain and disclose the use of generative AI to the court for all documents submitted in a legal proceeding as required by B&PC § 6068.1(d).
• Personal Citation Verification: You represent and warrant that you will personally read and verify the accuracy and continuing validity of all legal and statutory citations before filing any document with a court, in satisfaction of CCP § 128.7.
• Confidentiality & PII: You shall ensure that confidential, nonpublic, and personal identifying information is handled in accordance with B&PC § 6068.1(b).

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for ensuring that all data provided to the AI is accurate and that you have the necessary rights to use such data.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Draft Master shall not be liable for any errors, omissions, sanctions under CCP § 128.7, or legal consequences resulting from the use of generated documents. Counsel of record maintains sole professional accountability.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
